AceShowbiz - Gigi Hadid has treated her 40 million followers on Instagram to a first look at her fresh new do. Ditching her famous long brunette locks, the Victoria's Secret model was pictured sporting a chic, shoulder-length hair completed with front bangs.
The 23-year-old model still looked glamorous in her new hairdo. In a short clip that she posted on the photo-sharing site, it appeared she had not done with her new hairdo as her team could be seen in the background styling her hair. Judging by the fact she tagged Italian Vogue on the post, the new look was most likely for an upcoming photo shoot she did with the mag.
As expected, the new hairstyle garnered reactions from her fans. Many took to the comment section to write that she looked like Jennifer Lopez in the clip, while some others noted that she resembled Zendaya Coleman instead. There were also fans who gushed over her look, writing similar comments such as, "Absolutely stunning," "Pretty woman" and "omg you are so pretty."
The new look came after Gigi responded to the backlash she received after standing up for her Palestinian heritage. After a lot of people accused the model of blaming Israel's Jewish citizens for the recent attack at the Gaza border, she took to Twitter to hit back at people who assumed she was choosing one side over the other.
Knowing that people still didn't understand her intention, she has had enough. "I'm just gunna start keeping my opinions to myself," she wrote. "Social media is one of the most frustrating & twisted things. Don't be surprised when your faves drop off, it's a double-edged sword. Everything's taken & read the wrong way bc tweets can never show real depth."
