AceShowbiz - Hugh Grant is reportedly gearing up to to marry his long-term partner Anna Eberstein.
According to British newspaper The Sun, the 57-year-old Four Weddings and a Funeral star will wed his 39-year-old Swedish TV producer girlfriend in May.
Wedding banns, or a public announcement of a pending marriage, for the couple have been posted at the Kensington and Chelsea register office at Chelsea Old Town Hall near the couple's $13.4 million (£10 million) luxury home.
Hugh and Anna have been together for six years and share three children - John Mungo, who was born in September 2012, and another child born in December 2015.
The actor's ex-girlfriend Elizabeth Hurley let slip back in March that Hugh had also welcomed a third child with Anna, but the birth date and gender are unknown.
Friends are reportedly relieved that the Love Actually star is finally tying the knot.
"This is a day none of Hugh's friends ever thought would come. He will soon be a pensioner and has finally become a family man," a source told The Sun.
A representative for Hugh has yet to comment on the report.
The actor also shares two children with ex-partner Tinglan Hong.
The Royals star Elizabeth, who split from Hugh in 2000 but remains as one of his close friends, praised her ex in her interview with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live.
"He had another one last week. He has five. He was over 50 when he spawned them all," she joked. "He's an enchanting dad. Really, really sweet. Having these kids has transformed him from a very miserable person into a fairly miserable person. It's improved him. He's gone up the scale."
