AceShowbiz - Over 150 prized items once belonging to Prince are set to go up for auction next month (May).

The memorabilia left behind by the late musician includes items ranging from childhood photos to a custom made Cloud guitar, engraved with the icon's trademark love symbols. The yellow instrument is expected to go for between $60,000 and $80,000.

Among the collection are many of the icon's unique outfits, including a blue turtleneck and pants, which he wore during his 1999 party at his Paisley Park home in Minnesota and is expected to fetch around $50,000 to $70,000.

The bidding event will be hosted by Julien's Auctions in New York City at the Hard Rock Cafe on May 18 as part of the MUSIC ICONS 2018 event.

The "Purple Rain" singer died at his estate in April 2016 at the age of 57 after consuming a lethal dose of painkillers.
