AceShowbiz - Reclusive former The Fugees star Lauryn Hill is to celebrate the 20th anniversary of her groundbreaking debut solo album by performing it in its entirety on the road this summer. "The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill" anniversary tour will begin in Virginia on 5 July and wind through North America for 28 dates.
The album, which remains Lauryn's only studio release, debuted at the top of the charts around the world in 1998 on the back of the hit single "Doo Wop (That Thing)".
She also hit the headlines at the weekend by performing a surprise three-song tribute to Nina Simone at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony in Cleveland, Ohio.
Her upcoming album tour will also include a stop at the Pitchfork Festival in Chicago, Illinois on 22 July.
