The 'Dangerous Woman' hitmaker reportedly refuses to give James Charles 'any more attention by personally responding to his claims' despite being called the 'rudest celebrity' he has ever met.

AceShowbiz - Ariana Grande has been slammed by beauty vlogger James Charles who called her rude. The YouTube star called out the 24-year-old actress/singer in a video uploaded to his channel on Saturday, March 30. In the video, he briefly discussed his encounter with the former Nickelodeon star, deeming her the "rudest celebrity" he had ever met and describing his experience with her as "really crappy."

"I went to her show here in L.A.," James shared. "I posted a bunch of videos from the night, and she had DMed me, like, 'Thank you for coming!' She was so sweet... She followed me and DMed me. She was like, 'I wish I knew you were coming. I would've loved to have you backstage.' "

James admitted their interaction took place after he made offensive joke about Africa and Ebola. Apparently Ariana's fans brought his scandals to light, leading the "Into You" singer to unfollow the makeup guru.

"This is right after, like, all my scandals started happening, so I was getting, like, a bunch of really angry tweets from her fans that were really mad that she had followed me," he continued. "And literally four hours later, I started getting tweets being like, 'Wow, Ariana unfollowed James, the rat gets what he deserves,' like, 'Wow, love karma.' "

James went on sharing, "I messaged her back, and I was like, 'Hey, did I do something wrong?' And she literally was like, 'Hey babe, I saw a lot of angry tweets from my fans and I would never want to disappoint them, so I unfollowed.' "

What upset James was that she unfollowed him because she didn't want to upset her fans. James said he then sent Ariana another message which read, "You have a hundred million fans, it's really disappointing that you would, like, stoop to the level of listening to people bullying me, just to, like, appease them, but okay."

Ariana has not responded to James' story and she probably won't. According to HollywoodLife.com's source, the pop star thinks James' claim is "ludicrous" and she "doesn't plan to give it any more attention by personally responding to his claims-and, she really doesn't need to, because, let's face it, James' story speaks for itself."

The source explains, "They didn't work together, they weren't friends, they never even met in person, or spoke on the phone! Ariana direct messaged a few times with James, and she followed his social, she even told him they should meet up backstage after one of her shows-but then it was brought to her attention how problematic some of James’ recent social media interactions had been, and how upset a lot of her fan base were by Ariana following and seemingly supporting James, and so, she unfollowed him, and didn't think twice about it."
