'SNL' Recap: Bill Hader Revives Fan-Favorite Stefon for St. Patrick's Day

The 'SNL' alum also reprised some of his fame impersonations, including those of Al Pacino, Alan Alda and Clint Eastwood, during a skit in this week's episode.

AceShowbiz - Bill Hader was tapped to host this week's episode of "Saturday Night Live". In the March 17 episode, viewers were offered with the revival of some of his big-names impressions, including his take on Anthony Scaramucci in this week's cold open.

Alongside Fred Armisen's Michael Wolff, Hader's Scaramucci joined Anderson Cooper (Alex Moffat), who welcomed Jeff Session (Kate McKinnon) to talk about FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe's exit. They were also joined by John Goodman, who reprised her impression of Rex Tillerson, as they discussed his own firing by tweet.

Meanwhile, Hader greeted the audience with his famed funny facial expression. The "Barry" actor went on explaining that the commercials after the monologue "are fake." The "Saturday Night Live" alum added, "Another thing that I learned is you can make the monologue as short as you want. So, let's move on to the next sketch!" Right after that, a crew of costumers and make-up artists spring onto the stage to prepare him for the first sketch.

Later that night, "SNL" celebrated 25th anniversary of the release of "Jurassic Park" with a sketch featuring a fake 1992 screen test for the movie. The sketch saw Moffat impersonating Hugh Grant auditioning for Sam Neil's Alan Grant. Meanwhile, Hader revived three of his famous impersonations, Alan Alda, Al Pacino and Clint Eastwood. "Welcome to Jurassic Park, you dumb f**k!" Hader's Al Pacino said. McKinnon played Ellen DeGeneres and Jodie Faster, while Kenan Thompson appeared as O.J. Simpson who was auditioning for a role.

It's almost impossible for Hader not to reprise his role as fan-favorite character, Stefon. The beloved Ed Hardy-wearing city correspondent returned to the Studio 8H to give a few tips for St. Patrick's Day. He name-drooped a few names during his appearance, including Verne Troyer, Roman J. Israel Esq. and Farrah-cauns. Hader barely kept himself from breaking his character but failed as at the end of the skit, he couldn't hold back his laughter.
