The 'Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants' actress takes to her Twitter account to ask people for help to track down the man whom she claims tried to run over her and her 1-year-old daughter.

AceShowbiz - Amber Tamblyn almost became a victim of reckless driving. The 34-year-old actress revealed she and her 1-year-old daughter were nearly mowed down by a man driving a van when they crossed a crosswalk in Brooklyn on Sunday, March 4.
The actress, whose notable acting credits include "General Hospital", "Joan of Arcadia" and "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants", took to her Twitter account to share the scary incident and ask people for help to track down the man who tried to run over her and her baby girl.
She tweeted, "If anyone in Brooklyn near the intersection of Washington Ave and Atlantic Ave just saw a Hasidic man in a grey van try to hit a woman and her baby in a stroller as she crossed a crosswalk, honking and touching the stroller with the car's bumper, please DM me. That woman was me."

Responding to many people who expressed their concern for her and her baby, the "House M.D." alum said that she's "very shaken," but added, "we're okay." She later updated her Twitter account with another post to say, "Thank you everyone for your kind words of support today. We are fine. But this is not the first time a man from the Hasidic community in NYC has attempted to harm me or other women I know. Any woman riding a bike through South Williamsburg can attest. I hope this guy is caught."

NYPD says no police report has been filed yet regarding the incident that Amber claimed in her tweets.
Amber married comedian/actor David Cross on October 6, 2012 after getting engaged in August 2011. They welcomed their first child, Marlow Alice Cross, on February 21, 2017.
The "Two and a Half Men" star has been supporting the Time's Up movement. Sharing her own story, she wrote in an open letter published in Teen Vogue that actor James Woods tried to seduce her and a friend, and tried to take them to Las Vegas, when both were sixteen. She claimed that Woods was aware of their age. It allegedly took place when the three were at a restaurant.
