AceShowbiz - Brad Pitt was recently involved in a three-car fender bender accident. The 54-year-old actor plowed his Tesla into a small silver Nissan, which then hit another car, a black Kia truck, near his home in the Los Feliz neighborhood of L.A. on Monday, February 5.
In pictures obtained by Radar Online which first reported the news, Angelina Jolie's ex calmly exchanged information with the other drivers. At one point, he was seen squatting to take photos of the damage on the car he rear-ended.
Wearing a painter hat, a white shirt, black sweatpants and a pair of glasses, he looked serious as he handled the car crash. Luckily, the "Allied" actor appeared to be okay and not injured in the car crash. He left in his car after shaking hands with one of the other drivers.
Pitt reportedly "lives a quiet life and spends a lot of time at his home" after splitting from wife Angelina Jolie in September 2016. A source told Us Weekly in January, "It's his sanctuary and just being there is where he finds peace."
Pitt lives "just down the street" from his ex and he spends time with their six kids a few times a week. "It's never Brad or Angie that does the handoff. It's always the bodyguards and nannies," the source revealed. As to how he spends his time with his kids, the source dished, "Brad doesn't go out much with the kids or leave the house. He prefers to keep things very private and safe."
After their split, Pitt and Jolie began speaking cordially again in March 2017 in order to coparent their children. "They are in a place where they can put anger or hurt aside to focus on their children and how they plan to coparent," a source close to Jolie told Us Weekly. "It's been a difficult time for Angelina, and both are now willing to move forward and begin the next chapters of their lives."
