Lady GaGa Cancels Remaining Dates of 'Joanne' World Tour Due to 'Severe Pain'

Even though the songstress announces that she has to cancel the last ten shows of her world tour due to health issue, she promises that she 'will be back in your city.'

AceShowbiz - This is indeed devastating news for Little Monsters. Lady GaGa was supposed to wrap up her "Joanne" world tour on February 23 in Berlin, Germany. However, the songstress has to cancel all the remaining dates of the tour due to health issue.

GaGa took to Twitter on February 3 to announce the sad news, saying that she is "so devastated I don't know how to describe it." She wrote on the micro-blogging site, "All I know is that if I don't do this, I am not standing by the words or meaning of my music. My medical team is supporting the decision for me to recover at home."

"We're canceling the last 10 shows of my Joanne World Tour, I love this show more than anything, and I love you, but this is beyond my control," she continued, mentioning the cities of her canceled shows. "I promise I will be back in your city, but for now, I need to put myself and my well-being first. I love you, forever."

The songstress didn't share any details about her health issue, but her team stated that she is "suffering from severe pain that has materially impacted her ability to perform live." Her team added that GaGa was "extremely sorry and deeply saddened" as she couldn't wrap up her tour properly.

"She is in the care of expert medical professionals who are working closely with her so she can continue to perform for her fans for years to come," they continued, adding that ticket holders would obtain a refund starting Tuesday, February 6.

While it is saddening that Little Monsters won't be able attend her world tour, they still have an opportunity to watch the songstress on stage at her Las Vegas residency. GaGa is scheduled to kick off her two-year residency at MGM's Park Theater in December this year.
