AceShowbiz - A supposed official first look at "Solo: A Star Wars Story" has surfaced online. The artwork, which is said to be an international promo poster for the upcoming movie, features Alden Ehrenreich's Han Solo, Donald Glover's Lando Calrissian, Joonas Suotamo's Chewbacca and Emilia Clarke's character named Kira.

Unfortunately, the artwork, which comes from a Russian entertainment site along with a brief description of the movie, is not an official promotional poster from Lucasfilm. The production, along with its distributor, Disney, has confirmed to Screen Rant that they have yet to release any official promotional piece for the upcoming "Star Wars" spin-off centering on Han.
"Solo: A Star Wars Story" is scheduled to open in theaters across the United States on May 25 next year. Ron Howard stepped in as director to replace Phil Lord and Chris Miller following the duo's exit allegedly due to "creative differences" with Lucasfilm. Howard reportedly had to reshoot "nearly all" of the film, doubling its budget.
"The reshoots ended up covering nearly all of 'Han Solo', all of the film, and potentially up to twice the budget," sources close to the production said in late October. "We're hearing that [Howard] reshot potentially 80 percent or more of the movie."
In addition to Ehrenreich, Glover, Clarke and Suotamo, the upcoming film stars Woody Harrelson as Han's mentor named Beckett. Other supporting cast members include Paul Bettany, Warwick Davis, Ian Kenny, Thandie Newton, Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Clint Howard.
Written by Lawrence Kasdan and his son Jon, the film is themed as a space Western. It centers on a young Han Solo, the roguish smuggler who later meets Obi-Wan Kenobi and Luke Skywalker in the Mos Eisley in "Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope" (1997), and his adventures with his Wookiee partner Chewbacca, including their encounter with Lando Calrissian.
