Chris Brown Unveils Melancholy Track 'Him or Me' - Listen!


The emotional ballad finds the 'Privacy' singer singing about giving the cheating girlfriend a chance to choose between him or the other guy.
As if his 57-track deluxe edition of "Heartbreak on a Full Moon" wasn't enough, Chris Brown gifted fans an emotional ballad track "Him or Me". The singer has announced on Instagram its release, writing, "People don't really know how much this is a passion and purpose for me to create and express emotion. I put out music because you accept whatever gift I may have."



On the melancholy track, Chris sings about adultery, a failing relationship and giving the cheating girlfriend a choice. "Try to drink away the misery, too drunk too angry/ Gotta come clean to figure it out, she cheated/ Too drunk too angry, girl that's just f***ed up I can't believe it," he croons. "Think you can lie, you gotta pick a side, him or me/ Who do you love? Him or me? Gotta be him him or me?"



Two weeks ago, the Virginia native released "Heartbreak on a Full Moon Deluxe Edition: Cuffing Season - 12 Days of Christmas". The effort features 12 new songs, including a collaboration with a slew of rising stars such as Trippie Redd and Agnes Monica a.k.a Agnez Mo.

During a recent interview, the R'n'B megastar revealed that he worked on the album in 2016 through 2017. "It's funny because we're doing a double album. I've done so many records, but all of the records, to me, are personal favorites and I fell like it gets what I want to say across. It gives a vibe. You get nostalgia or you get a sense of individuality," he shared.

In other Chris-related news, the 28-year-old singer has been tapped to star in Nick Cannon's indie film "She Ball". The plot will follow Avery Watts (Nick Cannon) through his journey to enlist the baddest women's streetball league in the city to help him save the embattled Inglewood Community Center.
