After delaying its release to pay respects to Jonghyun's passing, TWICE finally treats their fans, known as ONCE, to a music video for their bubbly Christmas track "Merry & Happy". The South Korean girl group debuted the visuals on Friday, December 22.

The three-and-a-half-minute clip finds the girls, who are dressed in colorful outfits, having fun preparing for their Christmas party. They are seen decorating cakes and a Christmas tree, playing games and toys, singing karaoke and exchanging gifts. The visuals also gives off retro vibes as some scenes show the members filming a home video.

"This winter with you beside me is different/ The carol play does not make me cry/ Now I also like Christmas/ White snow coming down does not make me lonely either," they sing over the swaying melody. "Now, my Christmas is also merry/ New year is happy since you are beside me."

It didn't take too long for fans to gush over the clip. Many of them remarked that the music video was their favorite as it "shows their bond not as a group, but as a family." A fan wrote in the comment section, "In love with this video. No choreography, you can tell by their smiles they had fun making this."

"Merry & Happy", which is written by JYP Entertainment founder Park Jin Young, is the title track off the repackage album of the group's chart-topping album "Twicetagram", which was released in October. It follows lead track "Heart Shaker".

Celebrating the release of the effort, the nine-piece girl group held a special show for fans on Naver's V Live. During the show, the girls cheerfully talked about filming and recording the music video for "Heart Shaker". Member Tzuyu recalled that she was hungry during the filming as "we were filming at dawn, so I ate some of the snacks while we filmed."
