AceShowbiz - Is Ben Affleck choosing an old love over a new one? The Batman depicter reportedly is trying to get back with his estranged wife Jennifer Garner and gearing up to dump new girlfriend Lindsay Shookus.
A source told Radar Online that the "Gone Girl" actor is going to leave the "Saturday Night Live" producer. Ben, who secretly entered rehab for the third time at Passages treatment facility's 30-day program in Malibu, California, is said to be wanting to give his marriage to the "Alias" alum another shot.
The site further reports that Ben has moved back into the family home in Pacific Palisades. This arrives after he allegedly bought a love nest for him and his new girlfriend Lindsey in New York.
His luxury car collection was parked in the gated driveway of the family's mansion as recently as November. It is also said that his "man cave" has been connected to the main house.
"Ben's been begging Jen to give their marriage another shot, but she's refused to promise anything until he's on the straight and narrow," an insider says. "Jennifer would take Ben back, but she needs a lot of reassurance first."
The actress reportedly has agreed to spend the holidays with the "Justice League" actor and their three children, Violet, Seraphina and Samuel, in a "trial reunion." Jennifer, who was on a self-imposed "no sex ban," was caught with an apparent love bites on her neck on November 19.
Jennifer "will only give him so many chances." The source adds that Ben has "got to hope he hasn't blown them all."
Previous report suggested that Ben's continuing to receive treatment for his alcohol addiction. A source close to the actor noted, "Dealing with this disease is something he'll have to work on for the rest of his life and he remains focused on it."
