AceShowbiz - Earlier this month, Quavo teased a diss song against Joe Budden entitled "Ice Tray" featuring Lil Yachty. The Migos member has finally unveiled the visuals, which stars a Budden look-alike, for the track.
Directed by Millicent Halles, the four-and-a-half-minute clip begins with a parody of Complex's "Everyday Struggle". When asked about his real issue with Migos and Yachty, the Budden actor throws his cap and answers, "Man, they not -- they not about the coachin'. Like, they making hundreds of thousands in shows, millions of dollars in endorsements."
The scene then switches to show the duo donning fur coats and gold jewelries while spitting their lines. Other Migos members also make a cameo appearance in the clip, which was co-directed by Quavo. Towards the end of the clip, the Budden actor can be seen shivering while covered in frozen ice and snow.
"Ice Tray" is one of the tracks off record label Quality Control's first compilation album "Quality Control: Control the Streets, Vol. 1", which was released on December 8. When asked about the song, Yachty told TMZ that they created the song just for fun. "Honestly, we not even worried about Joe," he shared, "We honestly it's almost like we poking fun at it. We just bored. We're not at him. Just having fun, you know what I'm saying."
For those who don't remember, the whole controversy between Yachty, Migos and Budden started back in May, when Budden yelled at Yachty for not knowing the term "360 deal," during the "Broccoli" rapper's appearance on "Everyday Struggle".
Later in the same year, Budden and Migos engaged in a heated interview at the 2017 BET Hip-Hop Awards. Budden threw his microphone to the ground and stormed off camera when his co-host DJ Akademiks didn't wrap up the interview in time. This led all Migos members to get up from their seats and look ready to fight him.
