The show titled 'Our Cartoon President' will chronicle the "tru-ish misadventures" of Donald Trump along with his advisors and family members.

AceShowbiz - Skewering Donald Trump on his late-night talk show is apparently not enough for Stephen Colbert. The comedian has teamed up with Showtime to present an animated series inspired by the U.S. President titled "Our Cartoon President".

The 10-episode animated comedy is set to premiere on February 11 at 8 P.M. ET/PT on the network. Executive produced by Colbert, it will chronicle the "tru-ish misadventures" of Donald Trump along with his advisors and family members, as viewers get a behind-the-scenes look at a day in the life of the President.

According to official description of the show, "in this parallel cartoon universe, the Commander-in-Chief opens the White House doors for an 'all access' look at a typical day in the life of the President of the United States. OUR CARTOON PRESIDENT examines the quintessentially Trumpian details of the presidency and his most important relationships, and no one is safe - from his close family and confidants to key political figures from both parties and members of the media."

A teaser trailer for the show has been unveiled as well, giving the first look at the animated version of the president, his wife Melania, his daughter Ivanka Trump as well as staff members of his administration. "Give me an Emmy," the animated Trump says, poking fun at the president's claim that "The Apprentice" deserved an Emmy.

"The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" executive producer Chris Licht serves as the showrunner alongside Colbert. An extended preview of "Our Cartoon President" will be released on several digital platforms as well as On Demand on January 28, two days before Trump's State of the Union address.
