AceShowbiz - Taecyeon recently had his first day off from the army and he spent it with his 2PM's groupmate Jun.K. The latter took to his Instagram account on Saturday, November 25 to share a picture of him and Taecyeon having a meal together. The two raised their hands as they appeared to have a toast, though their drinks were censored with a heart emoticon.

"Our Taecyeon's first night away [from the military]!" so Jun.K excitedly captioned the snap. Jun.K kept himself warm in a black jacket, while the "Let's Fight, Ghost" star looked handsome in his military uniform.

Taecyeon quietly enlisted in military on September 4. Since he had previously expressed his desire to enlist quietly with just his family and 2PM members present, his enlistment date and location were not revealed prior to the day. The "Wonderful Days" star was applauded by fans for keeping his promise to enlist the military quietly this year.

Earlier this month, it was reported that the 28-year-old singer/actor had been promoted to private and military instruction assistant after receiving praise for his attitude during training. On October 18, Taecyeon completed his basic military training and was transferred to become an assistant at the 9th Armed Forces Division in Gyeonggi Province.

Also on the same day, his 2PM's groupmates Nichkhun, Wooyoung and Chansung attended his military training completion ceremony to show their support. JYP Entertainment shared a photo of the foursome during the visit.

Previously, the "Assembly" star, who migrated to the U.S. with his parents when he was 10 years old, had to renounce his U.S. citizenship to enlist the military and underwent a back surgery to serve as an active-duty soldier. "After witnessing the tensions between North and South Korea, I started thinking about enlisting," he told SBS News last November about his decision.
