Super Junior Sells Jackets on Home Shopping Channel and They're Sold Out

Donghae, Eunhyuk, Heechul, Leeteuk, Shindong and Yesung hilariously model long padded jackets while singing their song 'One More Chance'.
Super Junior fulfilled their promise to appear on a home shopping channel, becoming the first idol group to do so. Eunhyuk previously said that if their album "PLAY" sold 200,000 copies, they would sell black suits (as an homage to their title song "Black Suit") on TV.

Since the album easily reached the milestone, they kept their words by appearing on CJ O Shopping on Monday, November 20. However, instead of black suits, they sold long padded jackets which are perfect for the winter season.

The six members, Lee Donghae, Eunhyuk, Kim Heechul, Leeteuk, Shindong and Yesung, were all wearing the coats in different colors. They also performed their song "Black Suit" on the show. They later performed another song of the album, "One More Chance", still in the long coats, looking hilarious as they struck dramatic poses to model the jackets.

"It's so chaotic it's hard to believe if it's real or not. We became the first idol group to appear on a home shopping network," Leeteuk commented. Heechul said while promoting the jackets, "While black suits are nice, it's hard to wear out in the cold winter. There are black and white long down jackets in various colors. I hope you spend this winter warmly."

The guys drew laughter as they acted silly to model the jackets, hugging each other and pretending to be drunk. Leeteuk emceed the show, while Shindong responded to customer call inquiries. Shindong also pledged, "If all the long down jackets sell out, we will film a 'One More Chance' music video wearing the jackets."

Within the first 30 minutes, they sold 9,000 sets of the jackets. They completely sold out the coats in all sizes in an hour. Each purchase comes with a copy of "PLAY", and some lucky customers are given the signed albums.

In other news, Super Junior's "Black Suit" has maintained its reign on the Korean music chart on Kkbox in Taiwan. The song also tops the weekly Kkbox Korean music charts in Hong Kong and Singapore this week. Kkbox is the largest music site in many Asian regions.
