Bradley Bufanda, who is best known for his recurring role as Felix Toombs on "Veronica Mars", has died. The actor committed suicide on Wednesday, November 1. Lt. David Smith of the Los Angeles County coroner's office tells Variety that Bufanda died of traumatic injuries after jumping off a building in the 300 block of South Fuller Avenue.
Citing a law enforcement source, TMZ reports that a transient found Bufanda's body laying on the sidewalk around 1 A.M. on Wednesday. He left a suicide note that was found on or near his body. He reportedly mentioned the names of his parents and thanked people in his life.
His rep has confirmed the actor's death. "We are completely devastated for he was an extremely talented young actor and wonderful, caring human being," the rep said in a statement after the news broke on Friday. "He was reviving his career having just completed 2 movies and we are shocked and saddened by his passing. The family would appreciate privacy at this difficult time."
His manager, Kirsten Solem, says the actor didn't show signs of an emotional struggle and didn't struggle with substance abuse.
Some members of "Veronica Mars" family have expressed their condolences on the actor's tragic death. Series creator Rob Thomas tweeted, "I'm heartbroken to hear of Brad Bufanda's passing. He did great work on Veronica Mars. My heart goes out to his family."

Francis Capra, who played Felix's best friend Eli "Weevil" Navarro, also posted on Twitter, "Oh no.. Not Bradley B. I need to call his Mom. I can't bring myself to believe this is real, please." He added, "This is beyond heartbreaking.. I have no #'s to call, but if you can read this I love you Robin, I am so very sorry. #BradBufanda."

Besides his recurring role on "Veronica Mars", Bufanda appeared on other TV series like "CSI: Miami", "Malcolm in the Middle" and "Days of Our Lives". He also had a part in 2004's film "A Cinderella Story".
