The 'Wendy Williams Show' host shocked viewers as she collapsed during Tuesday morning's live broadcast of her show, but said that 'it was not a stunt.'

AceShowbiz - Is Wendy Williams okay? Viewers were shocked when "The Wendy Williams Show" host collapsed during live TV on Tuesday morning, October 31.
Clad in a green Statue of Liberty costume for Halloween, the 53-year-old TV personality was in the middle of the show's annual "How You Doin' Halloween Costume Contest" segment when she began slurring her words. With her eyes wide opened, Wendy later staggered backward before collapsing.
Staff quickly went to the stage before the show cut to a long commercial break. The host later came back on air and assured the audience that she was okay. "That was not a stunt. I'm overheated in my costume and I did pass out. But you know what? I'm a champ and I'm back," she said.
Following the concerning incident, a spokesperson for the show stated, "Wendy fainted on-air this morning. She is dehydrated and is on her way home to rest and sleep." The spokesperson added, "She has been examined by medical professionals and finished the show in true Wendy spirit. She has never missed a day of work, and will continue all shows as planned. She will address this on-air tomorrow. She has never missed a day of work and is looking forward on November 13th to her 1500th show."
Wendy also personally took to her Twitter account to address the issue. "Everybody relax. I'm doing fine, just need some water and electrolytes," she assured her fans. "On another note, I slayed and laid Halloween, LOL! Shout out to my magnificent Glam Squad and Ceaser Galindo the costume designer. More on this tomorrow."

Despite her saying she's okay, her staffers couldn't help but worry about her health. "Wendy has become very thin recently, and the show staff wonders if she is under a lot of personal stress," noted an insider to Page Six. The insider seemingly suggested that the recent cheating scandal involving her husband, Kevin Hunter, has taken a toll on her health.
