Colton Haynes and James Franco are embracing the spirit of Halloween. As the festivity is fast approaching, the two actors wasted no time to dress up on separate occasions. The former channeled Marge Simpson, while the latter went undercover as Jack Nicholson's character in "The Shining".

He completed the look with a red beaded necklace, a plunging green mini dress and a tall, curly blue wig, while holding a bottle of drink. "Excited to host @FreixenetUSA 2nd Annual Black Magic Halloween Affair tonight!" he posted on Instagram along with a Boomerang video.

James Franco, meanwhile, donned a Jack Nicholson mask to channel his character Jack Torrance in Stanley Kubrick's 1980 horror film. The actor and his "The Deuce" co-star Chris Bauer scared up visitors at Universal Studios Hollywood Halloween Horror Nights.

Holding an axe, he pretended to take a swing at guests, who wandered through the maze modeled after Overlook Hotel. The parkgoers looked genuinely terrified. After the stint, Chris praised James' natural ability to scare people. "This could be the hiatus job!" he jokingly said.
