Colton Haynes Dresses Up as Marge Simpson, James Franco Goes 'The Shining' for Halloween

The 'Teen Wolf' alum is unrecognizable in his elaborate costume as 'The Simpsons' character, while the 'Deuce' star wears a Jack Nicholson mask to scare visitors at Universal Studios.

AceShowbiz - Colton Haynes and James Franco are embracing the spirit of Halloween. As the festivity is fast approaching, the two actors wasted no time to dress up on separate occasions. The former channeled Marge Simpson, while the latter went undercover as Jack Nicholson's character in "The Shining".

You could never tell that it was Colton under his costume as he went all out dressing up as "The Simpsons" character. The "American Horror Story: Cult" actor wore yellow body spray paint, a full foam latex mask and enormous breast and eye prosthetics.

He completed the look with a red beaded necklace, a plunging green mini dress and a tall, curly blue wig, while holding a bottle of drink. "Excited to host @FreixenetUSA 2nd Annual Black Magic Halloween Affair tonight!" he posted on Instagram along with a Boomerang video.

He also took to Instagram Stories to show how the transformation was done. Following the party, the "Teen Wolf" alum he removed the wig and fake eyes. "I had to take the wig off. It's too hot. Here we go, Halloween," he said. "Okay, these have to come off too," he said, peeling off his "eyes." "I can see! I can see!"

James Franco, meanwhile, donned a Jack Nicholson mask to channel his character Jack Torrance in Stanley Kubrick's 1980 horror film. The actor and his "The Deuce" co-star Chris Bauer scared up visitors at Universal Studios Hollywood Halloween Horror Nights.

Holding an axe, he pretended to take a swing at guests, who wandered through the maze modeled after Overlook Hotel. The parkgoers looked genuinely terrified. After the stint, Chris praised James' natural ability to scare people. "This could be the hiatus job!" he jokingly said.
