The 40-second promo sees Barry bickering with Ralph Dibny, who is described as his 'old nemesis,' and calling the Elongated Man 'dirty.'

AceShowbiz - "The Flash" season 4 debuts Ralph Dibny a.k.a. Elongated Man in new photos and a promo for its upcoming episode 4, titled "Elongated Journey Into Night". The new promo features Ralph, played by Hartley Sawyer, freaking everyone out with his metahuman powers which allow him to stretch his body.

The 40-second video opens with Ralph being dropped off a building by two men he probably got on the wrong side of. It is assumed that it's the moment when his powers manifest for the first time.

The new promo further confirms that Barry Allen and Ralph have a history as the synopsis describes the latter as Barry's "old nemesis." Barry doesn't have much problem to show his feelings as he can be heard dubbing Ralph a "dirty cop."

Ralph seemingly will end up being examined at STAR Labs, where he is seen bickering with Barry. "You were dirty then, and you're dirty now," Barry tells him, before he flies a punch at Ralph's face, only to find his hand getting inside his elastic mouth.

The promo also offers a glimpse of the debut of Danny Trejo who plays Gypsy's father, Breacher. The promo concludes with Breacher attacking Barry and Ralph.

It remains to be seen whether episode 4 will further explore why Ralph was listed as one of the "presumed dead" people following the STAR Labs particle accelerator explosion back in season 1. Some fans, however, assume that The CW may get away with simply ignoring that.

The official logline for episode 4, which is directed by star Tom Cavanagh, reads, "Cisco is shocked when Gypsy's (guest star Jessica Camacho) father, Breacher (guest star Danny Trejo), shows up on Earth-1. Breacher takes an immediate disliking to Cisco and decides to hunt him. Meanwhile, Barry runs into his old nemesis, Ralph Dibny (guest star Hartley Sawyer)."

"The Flash" season 4 airs on Tuesdays at 8 P.M. on The CW.
