Following the release of the emotional EDM song, the 'Good for You' singer reveals that her new album may be coming sooner than expected.

AceShowbiz - After teasing fans about new track "Wolves" on social media, Selena Gomez finally released the song, which features Marshmello, on October 25. It follows the release of "It Ain't Me", "Bad Liar" and "Fetish".

The emotional EDM track, which was written by both Selena and Marshmello, finds the "Another Cinderella Story" star singing about longing to meet her lover. "I've been running to through the jungle/ I've been running with the wolves/ To get to you, to get to you," she sings. "I've been down to the darkest alleys/ Saw the dark side of the moon/ To get to you, to get to you."

Selena also shared the visualizer of the song on YouTube. The singer is seen crouching down on a diving board as she looks below.

Following the release of "Wolves," the "Bad Liar" crooner revealed in an interview with Apple Music that the song might be one of her most personal records. "The song is very beautiful and personal," Selena said. "Weirdly, at the same time I was working on it in Japan. I was going through stuff too, so it's mirrored everything."

The "Monte Carlo" star added that she didn't plan to release any album before and wanted to take her time. However, after filming a new movie in New York, she thought that it was finally time to get back to music. "I'm ready. I want to get back in and re-focus on all of my music," she said. "To be honest, I feel like I have two albums already completed, but I'm wanting to figure it out."

Selena continued, "It's [the album] a lot sooner than I think people anticipate. I want to call the shots, I want it to be good, I want it to be ready, I don't want to do anything that's forced. It will be soon."
