New 'Arrow' Clip Confirms Bruce Wayne Exists in Arrowverse
TV

After Oliver Queen name-drops the billionaire in the clip, FOX's 'Gotham' has taken to its Twitter account to give an epic, playful response.

AceShowbiz - "Arrow" has just released a sneak peek at the upcoming second episode of season 6 and it features Oliver Queen name-dropping a major character in DC Comics Universe. The new clip confirms a thing which fans have been waiting for, the fact that Bruce Wayne a.k.a. Batman exists within the realm Arrowverse.

[SPOILER ALERT!] The clip sees reporters bombing Oliver with questions following a photo of Oliver dressed as Green Arrow was leaked to the press. In attempt to keep his secret identity, Olive uses Bruce Wayne's name.

"If you want to know what I have to say, it would probably help if you could hear me. I'm gonna tell you two things, both of which you probably already know," Oliver tells the reporters. "First, this is important. I am not the Green Arrow."

"Number two, photos can be doctored. They could've put Bruce Wayne's head on that body," the mayor of Star City later continues. "Has Bruce Wayne left Gotham to hang out in Star City recently? No. Now, if I was running around the city during the day and managing it as a mayor while running around at night frightening criminals as a vigilante, that really would make me a superhero. But I'm not. I'm just the mayor."

This is a major name-drop that "Arrow" has ever made in the past six seasons. Prior to this, "Supergirl" confirmed Gotham's existence, while "The Flash" dropped the Wayne Tech Easter eggs. It will definitely open the discussion whether or not Batman will be coming to the Arrowverse in the near future, though it seems plausible.

Following the name-drop, FOX's "Gotham" has taken to its Twitter account to give an epic, playful response. "Bruce Way was still in #Gotham last time we checked," the account cleverly writes.
