Get your pineapple ready! Our beloved boys will come back to the small screen on Thursday, December 7. The premiere date of "Psych: The Movie" has been revealed in a new teaser featuring the main characters. Co-lead Dul Hill, who plays Burton Guster, a pharmaceuticals salesman, also confirms the date via a special message video to fans.

"Although I can't be there today," he says, "It is my honor and my privilege to share with all of you as the very first people anywhere in the whole wide world the airdate of 'Psych: The Movie' which is wait for it, December 7."

The good news doesn't end there. At New York Comic-Con, the panelist showed the first 20 minutes of the movie, as well as confirmed that WWE superstar John Cena would reprise his role as Ewan O'Hara, Juliet O'Hara's brother.

"He appears as Ewan O'Hara and he's absolutely pivotal to the trajectory of where this could potentially go," James Roday, who plays Shawn Spencer, said. "You will stand up from your couch and just start applauding the moment he comes in because he's so good."

"Psych" vet Timothy Omundson, who is currently recovering from a stroke, will also make an appearance in the TV movie.

"Psych: The Movie" takes place three years after the series finale. The story will follow our psychic detective Shawn Spencer and Burton "Gus" Guster, who open a new office in San Francisco, in their venture to solve a case after an unknown attacker assaults one of them.

The movie features Zachary Levi as the villain, Thin White Duke, Kurt Fuller as Woody the Coroner, Ralph Macchio as Nick Conforth, Jazmyn Simon as Selene, WWE superstar Charlotte Flair as Heather Rockrear, and Jimmi Simpson as Mary Lightly. The entire cast of the original series will also make their comeback in the movie.
