AceShowbiz - A plus-size model, Ashley Graham has been fat-shamed for working out. The 29-year-old brunette beauty has been sharing on her Instagram account videos of her workout sessions, but many have been criticizing her for it, with some of them even saying she'll lose what made her famous if she gets skinny.
Ashley took to the photo-sharing site on Sunday, October 8 to say that "everytime after I post a workout video I get comments like.. 'You'll never be skinny, so stop trying,' 'Don't workout too hard, you'll get skinny,' 'You still need your fat to be a model' [and] 'Why would you want to [lose] what made you famous.' "
Setting the record straight, Ashley told critics in the post that she's not working out to lose "weight or my curves," but "bc I love the skin I'm in." The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model explained that she's working out to "stay healthy, feel good, get rid of jet lag, clear my head, show big girls we can move like the rest of em, stay flexible & strong [and] have more energy."
The clap-back post came just hours after Ashley shared a video of her working out at a gym with her trainer. Wearing an all-black sportswear, she was seen doing hip thrusts. "Getting that [peach emoji] right with @christine_grubbs [flexed biceps emoji]," she wrote in the caption, adding the hashtags #sundaymorning #curvyfit.
The brunette beauty also showcased her fit, curvy figure in a sexy bikini in a video she shared a couple of days ago. Promoting her Swimsuits for All lines, the model could be seen in the slow-motion clip putting her ample bosoms on display in a plunging blue two-piece. She climbed up a ladder out of the water as her assets bounced in saucy slow motion.
Ashley accessorized with a pair of mirrored shades and delicate earrings while wearing her long, dark locks in a casual down 'do. Flaunting her enviably trim waist and sensational hourglass figure as she pulled herself up into the shot, she leaned in to give a closer view of her cleavage to the camera.
