The move, however, is temporary as the 'Fetish' singer is currently filming Woody Allen's movie in the Big Apple.

AceShowbiz - Selena Gomez and The Weeknd are shacking up! The couple has reportedly moved into a luxurious apartment together in New York City's Greenwich Village. The former Disney darling and the Canadian singer are living in "a low-rise luxury building in the heart of the Village," a source tells ET Online.

However, the move is said to be temporary as Selena is currently in the Big Apple to film an untitled Woody Allen project. It is "a big deal" for the 25-year-old singer/actress who usually stays at a hotel while working on remote projects.

The source dishes on the luxurious apartment, which features 11.6 ft high ceilings, Juliette glass balconies and English kitchens, "Best of all, the master bath is outfitted with his and her vanities, a steam shower and Kohler cast-iron bathtub." Similar units in the building have rented for $16,000 a month or more.

"They've both been very gracious to the neighbors and seem very happy with their living arrangement," the source adds about the lovebirds. And Selena has reportedly enjoyed the city lifestyle, as she is "definitely immersing" herself right into the "nitty gritty of New York."

Selena and The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, have been dating since early this year, following his split from model Bella Hadid. They were recently hit with breakup rumor as they were rarely seen together due to their busy schedules, with The Weeknd hitting the road for his "Starboy: Legend of the Fall Tour".

They later brushed off the rumor with their PDA-filled outings. The pair were spotted having a date at Disneyland in Anaheim, California in August and stepping out together for grocery shopping in Los Angeles a day later. They seemed to make the best of their time together before The Weeknd resumed his tour earlier this month.
