AceShowbiz - Evan Rachel Wood and her fiance Zach Villa have called it quits. The pair, who are also co-founders and bandmates in their electro-pop duo Rebel and a Basketcase, reportedly ended their engagement about a month ago. The Blast is the first to report the news.
Wood, who is currently focusing on filming season 2 of HBO's sci-fi drama "Westworld", appeared to confirm the breakup news on Twitter on her 30th birthday. She said on the Thursday afternoon, September 7 tweet, "All the single ladies!" along with some raising hands emojis and a winking face.
Wood and Villa first met in 2015 when performing together at a John Hughes-themed cabaret in Los Angeles. The mother of one and the 31-year-old musician formed Rebel and a Basketcase that same year. They announced their engagement in January after showing up in matching blue suits at the 2017 Screen Actors Guild Awards, where they were spotted rocking silver rings.
Wood was previously married to British actor Jamie Bell, with whom she shares a 4-year-old son. The former couple split in May 2014 after nearly two years of marriage. Bell announced he got married to his "The Fantastic Four" co-star Kate Mara a couple of months ago following their engagement earlier this year.
Wood is bisexual. She disclosed that she's bisexual via Twitter. She said of her sexuality in an interview with Esquire, "I'm up for anything. Meet a nice guy, meet a nice girl.." The actress dated "The L Word" actress Katherine Moennig following her split from Bell.
Wood revealed last year that she was sexually assaulted twice. "I've been raped," the two-time Emmy nominee told Rolling Stone. "By a significant other while we were together. And on a separate occasion, by the owner of a bar . ... I don't believe we live in a time where people can stay silent any longer. Not given the state our world is in with its blatant bigotry and sexism."
