The animated music video for 'Look What You Made Me Do' has been viewed 29 million times and counting by Saturday night, August 26.

AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift is celebrating a big milestone this weekend. The 27-year-old pop star breaks record for the most-viewed lyric video on YouTube, thanks to the stop-motion clip she co-produced with Joseph Kahn for her latest single "Look What You Made Me Do".

Released on Friday, August 25, the lyric video collected more than 19 million views within 24 hours. It raked in 29 million views and still counting by Saturday night. Taylor beat Coldplay who previously held the record with 9 million views in 24 hours, thanks to "Something Just Like This", their collaboration with The Chainsmokers.

Taylor is also projected to make a huge sales debut. Despite its mixed reviews, the new single rumored to target Kanye West was downloaded almost 200,000 times in its first 24 hours, and it is estimated to reach 550,000 in sales for the first full week.

Taylor's previous first-week best sellers were 2012's "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" (623,000) and 2014's "Shake It Off" (544,000). Meanwhile, Adele's "Hello" raked in 653,000 downloads in its second week back in November 2015.

The music video directed by Joseph Kahn will premiere at the MTV Video Music Awards hosted by Katy Perry this coming Sunday, August 27. It was briefly glimpsed on "Good Morning America" and already got compared to Beyonce Knowles' "Lemonade" visual album.

"I've worked with Beyonce a few times. She's an amazing person. The #LWYMMDvideo is not in her art space. Love and respect to Bey," the director quickly responded to the critical comments. "Also there's something to that 'formation' shot I painted out and you haven't seen yet. Stay tuned Sunday :)#LWYMMDvideo#SneakyAsia."

"LWYMMD" is the first official single from Taylor's new studio album "Reputation". A follow-up to her 2014 effort "1989", it's due November 10. UPS serves as the "official delivery partner" for the album. UPS trucks featuring her album cover art will hit the road starting August 26 in Atlanta, Nashville, and New York City. Fans will have "an improved opportunity" to get her concert tickets if they take a picture of one of the trucks, share it online, tag UPS, and add the hashtag #TaylorSwiftDelivery.
