The former Disney darling is slated to perform the patriotic tune ahead of the much-anticipated match at T-Mobile Arena on Saturday, August 26.

AceShowbiz - Demi Lovato is going to sing the National Anthem at one of boxing's highly-anticipated matches this weekend. SHOWTIME has announced that the "Sorry Not Sorry" singer is set to take the stage at the upcoming Floyd Mayweather, Jr. and Conor McGregor's fight to showcase her powerful vocal while performing the patriotic tune live.

The fight will take place on Saturday, August 26 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. It will air live on SHOWTIME PPV on 9 P.M. ET. Demi is no stranger to singing the Anthem as she previously sang it at other major sporting events, such as the World Series in 2011 and 2015.

The songstress herself is a notable boxing and MMA fan. She religiously hit Jay Glazer's L.A. gym for mixed martial arts training. She also has been sharing a lot of videos taken from her workout sessions on her social media accounts.

Demi recently revealed that she has made working out her habit. "Exercising has been so important for my recovery, both physically and mentally," she shared. "On show days I count my concert as workout, but on my off days I try to work out once in the morning and again at night. It can be a lot between performing and traveling, so I'm careful not to push myself too hard. My energy and endurance have gone way up. I feel so much stronger, and I'm much healthier."

She also claimed that she needs music while exercising. "A good playlist is crucial. Sometimes we'll blare music at the venue where I'm performing, and I'll run up and down the stairs or around the concourse," she added. "I also have a good team who are aware of my past health issues, so if they notice I'm having an off day, they'll be like, 'Come on--let's go break a sweat!' "

In addition to her healthy habit, Demi is now embracing her curvy body. "My current life motto: 'If Beyonce [Beyonce Knowles] can do it, I can do it.' If she can work out, have the incredible body she has, have a kid, and be successful as she is, then I sure as hell can, too," she said. "I'm also really inspired by other women in the spotlight right now who are embracing their curves."

"Say what you will about the Kardashians, but they've really helped make curvy bodies beautiful again," she explained. "It's so nice to look around and see women with hips and a butt, like Iggy Azalea and Jennifer Lopez. They have great figures, but you know they also work really hard for them and don't try to hide their curviness."
