AceShowbiz - The female wrestlers on "GLOW" will be on the ring for another season. Netflix announces that it has renewed the female-led wrestling series for 10-episode sophomore season.
The series shares the exciting news of the renewal via a short video posted on its official Twitter account. Set to an '80s disco beat, the video opens with its iconic glittering lips before showing a number two-shaped light.
Co-created by Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch, "GLOW" debuted in late June to rave reviews. Jenji Kohan ("Orange Is the New Black") executive produces the series alongside Tara Hermann.
Starring %cAlison Brie%, %cBetty Giplin% and %cMarc Maron%, the series is set in 1985 Los Angeles. It follows Ruth Wilder (Brie), a struggling out-of-work actress as she auditions for, trains and eventually makes TV's first women's wrestling show.
