Hailee Steinfeld has offered fans a first look at her character in "Bumblebee". The 20-year-old actress has taken to her Twitter account to share a photo featuring her as Charlie Watson, the main character of the upcoming "Transformers" spin-off.
According to the film's synopsis, Steinfeld's Charlie Watson is "on the cusp of turning 18 and trying to find her place in the world when she discovers Bumblebee, battle-scarred and broken. When Charlie revives him, she quickly learns this is no ordinary, yellow VW bug."

"Bumblebee" is set in 1987. Directed by Travis Knight ("Kubo and the Two Strings"), the movie is set to be released in theaters across the nation on December 21, 2018. It will be up against some heavy competitors including DC's "Aquaman".
Recently, it was reported that John Cena joined Steinfeld in "Bumblebee". The WWE star is said to nab a lead role in the pic which cast includes young stars like Jorge Lendeborg and Jason Drucker among others.
