The leader of the South Korean rock band F.T. Island and the former rhythmic gymnast have gone their separate ways after dating for four months.

Another couple has decided to go their separate ways. F.T. Island's leader Jong Hoon has called it quits with his girlfriend Son Yeon Jae. The couple ended their relationship after just four months of dating.
Jong Hoon's agency FNC Entertainment confirmed their breakup on Tuesday, August 1. "After speaking with him, it's true they've broken up. It's been 2 weeks," the agency revealed, "It seems the burden of going public so unexpectedly when they were just getting to know each other was too much. They naturally drifted apart and went their separate ways."
During a fan meeting in Japan that day, Jong Hoon told his fans that they broke up not long after their relationship went public in June. At the time, it was really hard for him as he had to lie on "Happy Together".
"I wanted to tell fans first with my sincere voice. She felt a lot of burden," he explained, "It is natural for a man and woman to date and break up. I will become a more mature Choi Jong Hoon."
