AceShowbiz - The "Avengers: Infinity War" panel at Disney's D23 Expo on Saturday, July 15 in Anaheim, California was full of surprises. Marvel offered a sneak peek at what to expect next from Earth's Mightiest Heroes in an action-packed teaser trailer that saw Guardians of the Galaxy joining The Avengers to face off Thanos who has assembled the Infinity Gauntlet.
According to descriptions on the web, Thor crash-landed on Star-Lord's ship, which didn't earn him any brownie points with Rocket Raccoon. He was badly wounded and Mantis healed him. Thor and the Guardians of the Galaxy were initially wary of each other, but Star-Lord eventually led his crew to follow the God of Thunder to Earth.
A sad scene between Scarlett Witch and Vision was shown with Thanos' ominous voiceover, "Death follows him like a shadow." Loki then appeared, trying to grab the Tesseract which held one of the Infinity Stones. The video cut to Peter Parker on his school bus. His Spider-Sense was on full alert as the hair on his arms stood up before alien ships landed on Earth.
"This does put a smile on my face," Thanos said as The Collector's storage was ransacked. The villain then walked through a portal onto Earth, grinning from ear to ear. Star-Lord and Doctor Strange quickly stood on guard. Spider-Man also leapt into action in a new suit. There was a glimpse of a blonde-haired Black Widow and bearded Captain America as well.
Thanos was unstoppable after gathering all the Infinity Stones. At one point, he grabbed Thor's head about to smash it with his hand. "You can run from it, but your destiny still arrives," he said. He also destroyed a planet before hurling it at the Avengers.
Besides the trailer, Disney unveiled the poster and the Black Order or the Children of Thanos. The group consists of Ebony Maw, Corvus Glave, Proxima Midnight, Supergiant, and the Black Dwarf. On top of that, Josh Brolin who plays the villainous Thanos brought the Infinity Gauntlet and showed it off to the crowd at the event.
