AceShowbiz - A protective mother, Kim Kardashian has set the record straight about the dress her 4-year-old daughter North West recently wore in public after it sparked online backlash. Kim was criticized for dressing North in what appeared to be a cream-colored corset over a silky orange dress, which were deemed too provocative for the toddler.
On Wednesday, July 12, Kim took to her Twitter account to defend herself for dressing her daughter in the corset-inspired dress. The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star claimed that she "would never put my daughter in a corset! It's a dress I bought that is a cotton fabric that laces up & looks like a corset! Just decoration."
Kim's tweet came alongside a video in which she said, "This dress that I did not design, I actually bought, is not a corset it's just fabric on the front." The wife of Kanye West revealed that she dressed her daughter in the said dress because she thought "it's really cute, I bought it from a designer and it's just fabric people, it's not a real corset."

Kim followed it up with a second tweet. She shared a photo of the dress with the caption that read, "Just decoration not a real corset."

It's not the first time North was seen wearing the corset-like dress. The little girl wore the dress over a white T-shirt back in April when she paid a backstage visit with her mom to Ariana Grande during the singer's "Dangerous Woman Tour" at The Forum in Inglewood, California.
