Lifetime has confirmed Constance Zimmer's tweet which says that the third season of the series will be delayed until 'the first part of 2018.'

AceShowbiz - The wait for the third season of "UnREAL" seems to be everlasting. Lifetime has confirmed what Constance Zimmer wrote on her Twitter account on late Sunday, June 4. The actress previously revealed that season 3 of the series wouldn't be returning until early 2018.

"Here's to the fans," opened the actress on her tweet, alongside a selfie with co-star Shiri Appleby. "Hang in there for #season3 @UnRealLifetime AIRING in the FIRST part of 2018!! #Unrealtv2018," she continued writing on the micro-blogging site.

The second season of the series ended its run in August 2016. The upcoming season 3 is expected to revolve around the first female suitor of "Everlasting", a "The Bachelor"-like reality show which Zimmer and Appleby's characters produce, named Serena (Caitlin FitzGerald). She will have 25 male suitors ready to win her heart.

They finished wrapping up the filming of the third season last month. "UnREAL" stars Craig Bierko, Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman and Josh Kelly. Season 3 will be the first season with new showrunner Stacy Rukeyser, whom the network announced as the new showrunner in October.
