Derek Fisher was arrested under the suspicion of DUI after crashing his car on the highway on Sunday, June 4 at 3 A.M. Fisher was driving with his girlfriend, former "Basketball Wives LA" star Gloria Govan, but none of them was injured.

In a video obtained by TMZ Sports, Fisher was seen talking to a police officer beside his wrecked Cadillac. He was immediately arrested after the police discovered that he had drunk prior to the crash. California Highway Patrol revealed that the basketball coach was driving northbound on the 101 freeway through Sherman Oaks, California. He swerved to the right and onto the paved right shoulder, causing his car to collide with concrete curb and guardrail before flipping over once.

Before the accident, Fisher was spotted leaving Catch Seafood Restaurant in Los Angeles on Saturday night, June 3 at 11:45 P.M. It was assumed that he later went to pick Govan up because she wasn't at the restaurant with him.

The representative of Fisher and Govan stated that the two are okay. "On behalf of Derek Fisher and Gloria Govan, they would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers," the representative said. "They are beyond grateful that they are both okay and that no one else was involved. Both Derek and Gloria are home and ask that you respect their privacy."
