The 'Strain' actor is reportedly signed on to portray a character named Black Tom in the upcoming second 'Deadpool' movie.

"Deadpool 2" is adding Jack Kesy to its ensemble. The role he is going to play in the sequel is still unclear, but Deadline reports that "The Strain" actor will portray a character named Black Tom who might be the villainous Tom Cassidy.
In the comic books, Tom Cassidy does clash with Wade Wilson numerous times. The mutant is also Banshee's cousin who possesses the power to manipulate, bond with, and project energy through plant life.
The second "Deadpool" movie is due June 1, 2018 stateside. Directed by David Leitch and scripted by Rhett Reese, the film will see Ryan Reynolds returning as the Merc with a Mouth, Stefan Kapicic as Colossus, and Brianna Hildebrandas Negasonic Teenage Warhead. Josh Brolin is added as Cable and Zazie Beetz as Domino.
