The 'Heart Attack' hitmaker and the EDM trio have fun in a post-apocalyptic desert in the cinematic visuals for their super catchy track.

AceShowbiz - The music video for Cheat Codes' collaborative track with Demi Lovato, "No Promises", is finally here. The three-minute clip finds Demi and the trio partying in a futuristic wasteland. Sporting sexy tribal costume, dreadlocks and smoky makeup, the pop star channels her inner rock star as she roams the desolate landscape.
Although the plot of the clip is a little bit confusing, the Hannah Lux Davis-directed video looks fun and artsy. With some futuristic camera effects and images of panoramic mountains and outer space, we seem to be taken to interdimensional journey.
Despite her gothic and cosmic-rebel look in the visuals, Demi sings about the beginning of romantic relationship on "No Promises". "Cutting me up like a knife/ And I feel it, deep in my bones/ Kicking a habit I love even harder/ You oughta know/ I just wanna dive in the water, with you/ Baby, we can't see the bottom/ It's so easy to fall for each other/ I'm just hoping we catch one another," she sings.
The visuals arrives after the single racked up more than 50 million streams worldwide on Spotify. Cheat Codes is currently one of the top 50 most streamed artists on the streaming service. They are set to make TV debut of the song with Demi on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" on May 22.
"No Promises" was premiered at the Beyond Wonderland Festival last March, but Cheat Codes didn't reveal the identity of the female vocalist. While fans already suspected that the EDM song featured Demi, the former Disney star fueled the speculation by tweeting, "Hey guys... Something coming REALLY soon... promise."
