The 'The Karate Kid' actor has declared that he will soon release the single which serves as his debut music as a K-Pop star.

AceShowbiz - Will Jaden Smith be a K-Pop star? That's what the son of Will Smith hinted on his recent tweet. The 18-year-old actor/rapper took to Twitter on Thursday, April 20 to announce that he would release a K-Pop single in 2017. He wrote, "And Yes I Will Be Dropping A K Pop Single In The Next 4 Months."

However, his followers were doubting it. Instead of being excited, many of his fans wondered if it's possible for Jaden to be a K-Pop star. A follower tweeted, "But like how." Another also gave similar response, writing, "Really how long did you train for when's your debut what company are you under is it under the big 3." A Twitter user wrote below the tweet, "It's not kpop if you haven't trained under a Korean company and debut in Korea you know that right."

It is no secret that Jaden is a big K-Pop fan. He has been hinting at his interest in the music industry on Twitter since last year after he met K-Pop artist G-Dragon in Paris. He then declared that the member of Big Bang was his inspiration and that making K-Pop music was in his 2017 agenda.

Jaden is no stranger to music. He has released several EPs such as "The Cool Tape Vol. 1" (2012), "The Cool Tape Vol. 2" (2014) and "This is the Album" (2015). The "After Earth" actor has recently released a music video for a track titled "Syre" off his upcoming album. He is currently filming movie "Life in a Year" with Cara Delevingne.
