The upcoming album would be Harry's first project since One Direction went on hiatus in 2015. From the lead single, it seems that the vibe of the album would be more like '90s rock ballad than 1D's contemporary pop. In a recent interview, Harry said of the album, "It's very much like giving birth – without the pain, obviously. It was very exciting. It was nerve wrecking. Also, very exciting to have a job again."

The young heartthrob also claimed that his debut solo album is his favorite. Although he's a little bit "terrified" about how it would do in the marketplace, he was excited to share his music with his fans. "But I think honestly, any time you are putting something out that's kind of a piece of you, I guess it's quite a vulnerable feeling. But it is exciting. I like it. And I think that helps in terms of the nerves. I think if I was putting something out I didn't like, then I'd be much more nervous," he explained.
