Netflix has unveiled the first full trailer of the upcoming season 2 of "Master of None". The new trailer is giving a classic "Manhattan" vibe as it mixes in black-and-white footage, featuring Dev in sort of a romanticized short film.
Season 2 picks up with Dev's (Aziz Ansari) journey in Italy to find world's finest pasta. Accompanied by a romantic score, the trailer sees Dev partying with his pal Arnold (Eric Wareheim) in the countryside. Dev is also seen biking around cobblestoned streets, sipping espresso in an Italian cafe and jumping in a pool with Italian socialites.
However, Dev later faces reality and comes back to New York. According to the official synopsis, season 2 follows Dev returning to New York, after traveling abroad, to take on challenges in his personal and family life, a new career opportunity, and a complex, developing relationship with someone very meaningful to him.
Several surprise guest stars are also glimpsed on the trailer. John Legend is briefly seen playing a piano in a blue suit. The trailer also offers a glimpse of Dev's parents Shoukath and Fatima. Bobby Cannavale ("Boardwalk Empire") will also guest star on the Emmy Award-winning comedy.
"Master of None" returns for season 2 on Friday, May 12 on Netflix.
