Demi Lovato helped put smile on children's faces at Parker Hughes Hospital. The 24-year-old singer/actress surprised the young patients at the children's hospital in Los Angeles on Thursday, March 30 as part of their second annual Make March Matter campaign.

Lovato also brought a special advanced screening of her upcoming animated movie "Smurfs: The Lost Village", which is set for an April 7 release in the U.S. In addition to getting to see the flick early, the children posed for selfies with the Smurfette voice actor alongside their family members.

The former Disney darling's not the only big name making a surprise visit to the children's hospital. "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star Kim Kardashian and "Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle" actor Jack Black also surprised kids at the hospital earlier this month.

More than 100 local L.A. businesses and corporate partners are said having committed to help CHLA exceed its $1 million goal to support its patients for the month of March.
