The star of the Lifetime show takes to social media to announce that she quits the show as her demand for creative credits for the past seven seasons is ignored by the show's producers.

AceShowbiz - Abby Lee Miller, the star of Lifetime's "Dance Moms", has announced her departure from the long-running reality series. On Sunday, March 26, Abby took to Instagram to tell her fans that she would no longer participate on the series, where she trained a young group of dancers as well as dealt with their mothers.

Along with a photo of her and some of kids of "Dancing Moms", Abby wrote in the caption, "The majority of children that follow me may be fast asleep, however now is the critical time to make the following statement: I WILL NO LONGER TAKE PART IN 'DANCE MOMS'."

Abby added that for the past six years, she had "asked, begged and even demanded creative credit for all the ideas, award winning routines, themes and costuming" to no avail. She continued writing, "I don't have a problem working with any kid, I love children and have dedicated my life to making other people's children successful!"

Abby, who debuted on the series in 2011, further explained the reason of her departure as she claimed she was "being manipulated, disrespected, and used day in day out" by the producers. In the caption, she dubbed the producers "men who never took a dance lesson in their lives and treat women like dirt."

The majority of children that follow me may be fast asleep, however now is the critical time to make the following statement: I WILL NO LONGER TAKE PART IN DANCE MOMS. FOR THE PAST SIX YEARS/ SEVEN SEASONS I HAVE ASKED, BEGGED, AND EVEN DEMANDED CREATIVE CREDIT FOR ALL THE IDEAS, AWARD WINNING ROUTINES, THEMES, AND COSTUMING - TO NO AVAIL! TODAY, I WAS SO PROUD THAT I WENT AGAINST THE PRODUCER'S IDEA (ONCE AGAIN) TO ENTER A COMMAND PERFORMANCE OF ONE OF MY FAVORITE NUMBERS... "WHERE HAVE ALL THE CHILDREN GONE?" ALONG WITH THREE BEAUTIFUL SOLOS! I don't have a problem working with any kid, I love children and have dedicated my life to making other people's children successful! I JUST HAVE A PROBLEM WITH BEING MANIPULATED, DISRESPECTED, AND USED - DAY IN AND DAY OUT BY MEN WHO NEVER TOOK A DANCE LESSON IN THEIR LIVES AND TREAT WOMEN LIKE DIRT! #dancemoms #season7 #ALDC #aldcalways #newbeginnings #aldcla #alllovedancecourage

The sudden announcement may lead to a speculation that the show will soon be ended. In addition, star Kendall Vertes fuels the rumor in her Instagram post posted earlier this month. She shared a photo of her and several co-stars on the social media and wrote in the caption, "This may be our last pyramid at the 'ALDC' #funtimes."

In recently-released "The Maddie Diaries: A Memoir" written by "Dance Moms" breakout star Maddie Ziegler, Abby's name is notably not mentioned. However, the teen dancer acknowledges Sia Furler as her mentor. "I feel like she's given me such great advice and so many things that I learned from her every day," Maddie says about the singer.

Back in January, a source told E! News that Abby had "always been difficult to deal with." The source also shared that many people thought Abby was going to jail even if it was just for a few months, following the accusations of fraud and violating currency towards her.

Last June, the star pleaded guilty for the charges, facing a maximum of six months behind bars. Abby will learn her fate in the upcoming sentencing, which will reportedly take place this year.

"Dance Moms" airs Tuesdays at 9 P.M. on Lifetime.
