Apparently the love story of The Weeknd and Selena Gomez is not always as beautiful as it seems. The "Starboy" hitmaker's new Instagram post seemingly suggests that the long distance relationship he's in with Selena is currently in a rocky situation.
On Friday, March 10, the Weeknd, who was born Abel Tesfaye, shared a pic of himself from his Glasgow tour stop. Along with the photo, he wrote an intriguing message which read, "I don't really care if you cry."
Many assume that Abel is trying to shade his own girlfriend with the post. It seems like the long distance between the two has taken a toll on Selena, who is currently in Los Angeles while the Canadian heartthrob is doing his tour gig.
Previously, it was reported that the 27-year-old hunk had met Selena's mother, Mandy Teefey. However, it seemed like the meeting did not end well as the 40-year-old mother was allegedly not impressed with The Weeknd. According to a source, "Mandy has met Abel and thinks he is respectful in person, but she doesn't think he's a good influence on Selena." The source added that the "Hands to Myself" hitmaker's mom didn't approve of his "dirty and drug-related lyrics."
