Kelly Rowland has set the record straight after she was accused of throwing shade at Ciara. The former Destiny's Child member appeared to like a negative comment slamming the pregnant singer's topless photo with her family on Instagram.
"This is not a cute pic ..sorry.....it's no different than the one with the chick and her little boy..why must everyone prove a point by being in your bday suit..," so read the comment written by user @teeque72_1 beneath the photo posted on @popcultureinashell Instagram page.
It turned out that Kelly didn't intentionally throw a like on the mean comment about Ciara's pregnancy pic, in which the "I Bet" singer affectionately posed with son Future and husband Russell Wilson. The "Dirty Laundry" singer took to Instagram on Tuesday, March 7 to deny she thew major shade at her "dear friend."
"This pic of my dear friend and her beautiful family makes my heart smile, I can't believe how anyone would actually think I would 'like' a negative comment about a woman I look at as a great Mom, awesome wife, and A sweetheart of a friend!" she wrote, adding, "Accidents do happen, and this new [heart emoji]/like feature is WHACK. #findanewstory #ILOVETHEWILSONS."
