Timberlake and Kendrick are expected to lend their voices to Branch and Poppy respectively for the sequel that's due 2020.

"Trolls 2" is officially announced by DreamWorks and Universal. Justin Timberlake and Anna Kendrick are set to return for the upcoming sequel. The second installment is scheduled to hit theaters across the country on April 10, 2020.
From the creators of "Shrek", the kiddie-friendly movie is based on the troll dolls created in the late 1950s by a Danish woodcutter named Thomas Dam, who didn't have enough money to buy a Christmas present for his daughter. In the first film, Timberlake voiced the curmudgeon Branch and Kendrick voiced the eternal optimist Poppy.
Besides lending his voice to one of the main characters, JT contributed to the soundtrack. His happy-go-lucky song "Can't Stop the Feeling!" was nominated for an Oscar, Grammy and Golden Globe. It won the Golden Gramophone. The movie was also a commercial success. It earned over $339 million worldwide.
