The former 'High School Musical' actress has responded to haters who said she looked pregnant while attending Elton John's Oscars party with husband Christopher French.

AceShowbiz - Ashley Tisdale was among celebrities heating up the 2017 Elton John AIDS Foundation's Academy Awards viewing party. The former "High School Musical" star attended the star-studded bash that was held on Sunday evening, February 26 with her musician husband, Christopher French.
The two naturally posed alone and together for photographers while walking down the red carpet. Ashley stunned in a cobalt blue dress that night, while her husband opted for a dapper look in his suit. However, people apparently fat-shamed her, saying that they thought her skintight dress made her midsection look like a prominent baby bump.
Ashley was not happy about it. The 31-year-old actress took to Twitter a day later to squash the pregnancy speculation. "The pressure to being perfect is a struggle," she began, before setting the record straight by saying, "No im not pregnant." She added, "I'm just happy and haven't been strict on my diet but thanks for the reminder."

Her fans have since come to her defense. However, one of them eventually admitted that she was the one who first sparked the pregnancy speculation. One fan with the Twitter handle @Totidadn wrote back, "@ashleytisdale im the one who said that you are pregnant!!"
"I saw your body last night you were different!" explained the alleged fat-shamer, before adding, "But i adore u no matter what." Ashley has not responded, but she did get a lot of supportive replies from her fans.
