New trailer for the tenth installment of "Doctor Who" has been released. The 30-second video shows glimpses of the Doctor's (Peter Capaldi) new companion Bill Potts, who is portrayed by Pearl Mackie.

"The first time you meet him, he's funny," says Potts as she's seen walking along with the Doctor in the beginning of the trailer. "The second time, he's amazing," she adds. "The third time, you realize he's the most dangerous man in the universe."

The tenth season of the sci-fi series marks Capaldi's last appearance as the twelfth doctor. The actor has announced that he's quitting the show along with showrunner Steven Moffat, who has been with the series since 2010. "I suppose the big thing about [the new series] is it'll be my last. This will be the end for me. I feel sad, I love 'Doctor Who'. It's a fantastic programme to work on. It's been a huge pleasure to work with... a family, I can't praise the people I work with more highly," said Capaldi, announcing his decision.

Meanwhile, Moffat said, "For years before I ever imagined being involved in 'Doctor Who', or had ever met the man, I wanted to work with Peter Capaldi. I could not have imagined that one day we'd be standing on the TARDIS together." He added, "Like Peter, I'm facing up to leaving the best job I'll ever have, but knowing I do so in the company of the best, and kindest and cleverest of men, makes the saddest of endings a little sweeter."

Moffat will be replaced by Chris Chibnall. Meanwhile, it's still unclear about who's going to replace Capaldi. But according to some rumors, Tilda Swinton is the new favorite actress to potentially play the thirteenth doctor.

"Doctor Who" season 10 premieres on Saturday, April 15 on BBC America.
