The first main cast member for "Marvel's InHumans" is announced, The Hollywood Reporter learns. Former "Game of Thrones" star, Iwan Rheon, is officially tapped in the key role of Maximus in the upcoming superhero series which has found a home on ABC.

The eight-episode straight-to-series show will follow the epic adventure of Black Bolt and the royal family. Maximus is fiercely devoted to the people of Attilan, especially his brother - the king, while harboring an intense desire to wear the crown himself.

Roel Reine ("Death Race") will direct the first two hours of the series while Scott Buck ("Dexter") serves as a showrunner. The show will debut in IMAX theaters over Labor Day weekend in September for a two-week run before the extended episodes airs on ABC.
