During her halftime performance, GaGa made her entrance by descending from the roof while she was being suspended. The 30-year-old singer rocked sparkling purple outfit on the joyful night. Many Twitter users have since poked fun at her by comparing her entrance to that of Spongebob SquarePants in "The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie" in 2004.
"Spongebob did it first," user @thedeon_ captioned side-by-side pictures of GaGa and the iconic yellow character. "Let's be honest, Spongebob's half time show will never be beaten," @miniMTJ jokingly said, while user @mileysviews wrote, "the spongebob squarepants movie (2004)."
